Will my electrical appliances work in India?India works on 220 volts AC 50 Hz. However, it is possible that certain areas have DC supplies and it is better to check before using the electrical appliances. Socket sizes vary, so it is advisable to take along a set of plug adaptors.
Note: You would probably need to get an adapter for your devices. It is easy to get "all-in-one" adapter that you can use to plug into your device's power chord before plugging into the power supply. Please feel free to ask us incase you are unable to manage one.
Ground Transportation: This includes transport to and from airports and hotels, city sightseeing tours, and excursions - by cars and/ or by luxury coaches. Paryatan World manages a large fleet of comfortable and modern cars and coaches - both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned. Our drivers are well-trained and reliable, fluent in English; thorough regarding the routes and destinations and are veritable guides in their own right. In a country where roads and traffic are an adventure by themselves, Paryatan World tries to make this a pleasant adventure.
Flight reservations when required. India has a vigorous network of domestic carriers and Paryatan World enjoys a close association with all of them.
Train reservations for travelers who wish to experience the Indian railways. Also bookings on special trains like the luxurious Palace on Wheels and on the 'toy trains' in the hills and mountains such as Shimla, Darjeeling, Ooty etc.
Paraytan World representatives meet all incoming groups/individuals at the airport on arrival and see them off on departure.
Tour Escorts: Paraytan World has its own team of tour escorts that accompany groups (and individuals, if required) on an entire itinerary to liaise with the local office and partners, and respond to the group's needs.
Tour Guides: Paraytan World has a network of well informed and experienced English and other language speaking guides at all places of tourist interest. These guides are independent and have the license issued by the Government.
We insist on a nominal deposit of USD 100 or a 10% of the total tour cost (whichever is more) to be sent to us as soon as the itinerary and the price has been finalized. This is an authorization for us to go ahead with the reservations. Many a times we would be needing to incur expenses in order to block rooms in small hotels which do not entertain travel agents, to buy train tickets, to pay for reserving berth in trains like Palace on Wheels, Royal Orient etc. Hence, we insist on a token amount. The balance however has to be settled one month prior to your arrival in India. The money can be paid by the payment gateway on the site, or through credit card, through a wire transfer to our bank account, a banker’s cheque or a demand draft etc.
